About Armadale

Armadale on the Isle of Skye (not to be confused with Armadale, West Lothian) is located near the southern end of the Sleat Peninsula on the Isle of Skye. There are regular ferry crossings to Mallaig, on the Scottish mainland with Caledonian MacBrayne.

Getting to Armadale Ferry Port

By Car

Armadale is located 16 miles south of Broadford on the A851.

By Train

You can travel by train from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh, or from Glasgow via Fort William to Mallaig.

Armadale Ferry Port Facilities

Café/ Bar

There is no café or bar at the terminal itself but some can be found in Armadale itself at approximately 600 metres from the terminal.

Disabled Facilities

There are disabled toilets, access to the terminal building and lifts.

Terminal Opening Hours

The terminal is open everyday from 08.30 - 17.00 during the winter and from 08.30 to 19.00 during the summer.

There is a limited parking in Council car park. Unfortunately, there is no dedicated disabled parking.
